A motor vehicle collision over 20 years ago left Garry with chronic pain, fatigue, and muscle tightness in his neck, shoulders and lower back. Though he had made adjustments to his workstation on his own, he was still feeling fatigue.

The Technology@Work program, operated by the Neil Squire Society, launched just over a year ago to support employment for people with disabilities. Since then it has helped people like Rahul, Michael and Lori overcome barriers and meet their goals at work.
Last Thursday, in support of September Disability Employment Month in British Columbia, Surrey WorkBC and Neil Squire Society partnered together to provide an introduction to workplace accommodation and open house for members of the media.
Meeting Josie, you will be struck by her bubbly personality and friendly demeanour, and you will quickly realize that she is also a smart, well-educated woman with an impressive list of skills and experiences. Despite this, she struggled to find employment after moving to Canada from the United States to be with her spouse.
