Larissa, who has has fetal alcohol spectrum disorder, earned her Grade 12 Diploma and a First Nation Early Childhood Education certificate, and she’s currently looking for full time employment.
Melanie has a learning disability. She finds it difficult to read because “the words are scrambled”. She had trouble hearing when she was younger, so she has tubes in her ears.
Pam has been unemployed since she was first diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2009. As a single mother of two, Pam needed to get back into the workforce but lacked the confidence to do so.
