When Hannah learned about a volunteer opportunity with Neil Squire at a job fair at UBC, where she was studying psychology, she had no idea it could play a pivotal role in her career.
“Just the hope of moving forward, I think Neil Squire was able to provide me with that,” Katherine says. “I have more hope than I did before.”
Lea particularly wanted to learn how to better use Dragon Naturally Speaking, a dictation software that allows her to use her voice to control her computer instead of a keyboard and mouse, making computer work much easier on her body.
Hearing about her friends using their computers made Jill want to learn too. She also has “lots of pictures” that she likes sharing with others. Already familiar with Neil Squire, she decided to enroll in Distance Computer Comfort.
