Calling Youth Leaders for Clubs That Care

Are you a high school or university student and want to make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities? Our Clubs That Care initiative is back, and we’re looking for youth leaders (ages 15-30) in Canada to engage their communities in building assistive devices for Canadians with disabilities.

Over the past six months, our Clubs That Care program supported Canadian clubs to build affordable assistive technology. Groups like engineering clubs, community service organizations, and academic societies helped deliver affordable assistive devices to the community.

Through Clubs That Care, an initiative by Neil Squire’s Makers Making Change program, we are helping university and post-secondary clubs and groups to build affordable assistive technology for their community. One such club is the University of Victoria (UVic) Biomedical Engineering Design Club.
