On March 3rd, Prospect employees in Edmonton built Interact Switches to go to Albertans in need during a Makers Making Change build event.
Happy Pi Day! Not only is today Pi Day, but this also marks five years since the first public build of the LipSync. A lot has happened since then, so we thought we would take this opportunity to look back at the LipSync and introduce the new, updated design that we are finalizing.
On January 27th, 2017, makers and people with disabilities came together in Vancouver, BC to work with each other over a 48 hour period to develop a device that improves the quality of life for the person with a disability. By the end of the event, each team developed a working prototype.
Attempting the #ATWorldRecord wasn’t the only thing Makers Making Change were doing on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 3rd. We also hosted a number of exciting builds with organizations and schools across Canada.
