Public Service Computer Kiosk Accessibility Review

Project Overview

Human Resource and Skills Development Canada (new window) is a large government institution that is always striving to provide better services more efficiently. Part of their strategy is to provide key services through computer kiosks located in their regional offices for specific information services. This project looked at evaluating the proposed kiosk design to ensure accessibility to people with disabilities. This project also evaluated new emerging voice recognition and text to speech technologies in order to increase the accessibility of the kiosk design.
