Prospect Employees in Edmonton Build Interact Switches

Build participants show off the switches they have built

On March 3rd, Prospect (new window) employees in Edmonton built Interact Switches (new window) to go to Albertans in need during a Makers Making Change build event.

The Interact Switch is a 3D printable switch design that requires a low amount of force to activate, with the feel of a commercial switch but much more inexpensive to make. With interchangeable tops, the switches are designed to be aesthetically pleasing to the user.

“I just wanted to say thank you for a unique learning experience, it was so interesting. I cannot wait to do it again!” says one build participant.

Thanks to their help, we’ve been able to donate these Interact Switches to families and occupational therapists across Alberta!
