Do you design open-source assistive technology? Are you looking to get started? Our Makers Making Change (new window) Research and Development team have been compiling a series of Open AT Resources (new window) to help designers in every step of the process.

Of course, we’ve got the basics with resources on necessary tools like 3D printing, Arduino, and CAD. But designing open-source assistive technology isn’t just about creating a solution for someone, it’s about creating a design that can easily be replicated and improved upon by other makers. Resources like our Documentation Templates and Open AT Template Guide help ensure that your project has everything that makers need to work on your device.

This is still very much a work in progress. If you have any feedback, please contact our Makers Making Change team at info@makersmakingchange.com.
