On Sunday, October 17th, the Atlanta Chapter (new window) of Makers Making Change, led by Shepherd Center (new window) occupational therapist Jasmin Brumby-Smith, closed the Georgia Occupational Therapy Association (new window) Conference with a build-a-thon.

Shepherd Center staff and conference attendees worked together at the Freeside Atlanta (new window) maker space to make raindrop switches, which will be donated to individuals who are under- or uninsured. In total, the team built 20 switches.
