Wow, it’s already September! For some, it’s back to school time. For us, it’s back to Seattle time. Over the next few weeks, we have quite a few events lined up just south of the border in the Emerald City. Here’s a preview of what’s to come:
The Seattle Maker Faire is on September 16th and 17th (Saturday and Sunday), and we’ll be there. In addition to a booth at the Maker Faire, we’ll be hosting a LipSync Buildathon on the Saturday with PROVAIL (new window), a Washington State disability organization.
We will be presenting at the Accessibility Camp Seattle (new window) on Saturday, September 23rd. It will be held at the Seattle Public Library (1000 4th Ave, Seattle, WA 98104) from 8 am – 6 pm. The event is free, but is limited to 150 participants.
One last event: While it’s actually in the first week of October, we’re looking forward to Inclucity 2017 (new window), hosted by our friends at PROVAIL on the 5th, the first Thursday of the month. This evening event will showcase individuals and organizations who are working to increase the inclusion of people with disabilities. It will be held from 5 – 9 pm at McCaw Hall in Seattle.
