His mantra is “Don’t dis-my-ability; I may not learn in a conventional manner but this does not mean I cannot learn, only that you have not been able to reach me”. 

Don’t dis-my-ability with Shawn Smith is a radio show that airs on 96.5 JoyFM (new window) every Saturday at 2pm. On the show he share his experiences as an individual who self identifies as having a disability and professional disability advocate.
