His audiologist referred him to the WorkBC Assistive Technology Services program.

Through WorkBC Assistive Technology Services, he received funding for a new hearing aid.

“It is easy now for me to hear the residents and my co-workers. I feel the difference while I’m using the hearing aid,” he says.

In particular, Edgardo appreciates that he doesn’t have to ask the residents or his co-workers to repeat themselves anymore.

“I feel confident that I can now give a higher quality of care,” he shares.

Edgardo recommends the WorkBC Assistive Technology Services program to others in need.

“I highly recommend [it],” he says. “I am so thankful for the help you have given me.”

WorkBC Assistive Technology Services is operated by Neil Squire. Assistive Technology Services are available to individuals who have a work-related barrier due to a disability or a functional limitation. This may include barriers related to traveling to and from the workplace.
