The Neil Squire Society’s Solutions for Employment Program provides specialized case managed services for people with disabilities and injuries. Our range of services support job seekers to find and maintain employment and improve employment readiness.
You are eligible to enroll if you:
- Have a disability or injury
- Live in the Burnaby area
The services provided in the program include:
- Review and clarify your job readiness
- Identify realistic and achievable employment objectives
- Workshops helping you to prepare for, find, obtain, and maintain employment
- Basic computer skills development
- Specialized formal assessments
- Ergonomic and assistive technology assessments
- Finding jobs and/or obtaining work experience
- Support and monitoring of your progress through regular follow-up

- Individualized services and customized service plans to serve your specific needs
- Professional staff who are committed to helping you reach your goals
- Knowledge of supports, accommodations, and adaptive technologies designed to facilitate
successful transitions to the workplace - Demonstrated knowledge of the ever changing labour market
- Ongoing involvement with employers through Vancouver, Burnaby, and Tri-Cities Boards of
Trade and Chambers of Commerce and the community
