Employment
Canadians with disabilities are less likely to be employed than those without disabilities. Factors such as limited opportunities from companies willing to hire them, and a lack of access to assistive technology devices to accommodate them at work and school, hinder the full inclusivity of Canadians with disabilities. We understand the importance of working with both individuals and employers in order to achieve success, and our programs reflect this approach.
The Neil Squire Society’s national employment program, Working Together, enables people with disabilities to prepare for, obtain, and maintain employment through a uniquely tailored, client-centred program.
