Richmond Public Library Switch Build
August 28, 2024 @ 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm PDT

Take your 3D printing to the next level! Join Brighouse Library and Makers Making Change for a fun STEAM workshop where you will build an assistive device. The Touch Light Switch is a small, cost-effective, 3D-printed assistive switch. Makers Making Change’s instructor will start this program with a short presentation, then participants will build their switches.
Makers Making Change is an online platform providing a disruptively low-cost alternative to commercially available assistive technologies. With a wide range of devices available in the assistive devices library, there are many options for people to request from and work with a volunteer maker who can build it for them.
