Learn about the inner workings of assistive technology devices that are designed by Industrial Designers as well as Electrical and Mechanical Engineers!

On October 3-6 2018, Neil Squire Society’s Makers Making Change (new window) will be at Ignite Career Day at Saskatchewan Science Centre (new window). Pran Pandley and the Neil Squire Society team will be presenting some assistive technologies with hands on opportunities for kids to explore, solder and assemble a LipSync (new window); a mouth controlled sip and puff mouse designed for people who cannot use their hands to access touchscreen devices. This is a unique and valuable learning opportunity to begin to understand how an interest in design, 3D modelling, 3D printing or electronics can lead to a fulfilling career to create real world solutions for people in your community.
