On December 3, from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm PST, the Vancouver Hack Space will be adapting toys for children with disabilities for this holiday season. Hackers will adapt an assortment of toys like the bubble blower and singing bear. Guests are welcome to bring in a toy they would like adapted for their needs. No experience is required to participate — volunteers will be available to assist makers of all skill levels and tools will be provided on-site.

Also on this day, join us in recognizing the United Nations International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

Every device will be given to a child with a disability as part of our Hacking For The Holidays campaign (new window).
