Diann Has Her “Life Back”

After a major brain trauma, Diann was looking to reintegrate into society. She started attending Computer Comfort classes at the Neil Squire Society, where one class a week started bringing her life back.

Greg, who has spinal cord injuries and degenerative disc issues, was looking for a position that would stimulate him. With the help of a Working Together wage subsidy, he began a marketing position at Oak Bay Botanicals.

The Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT) is hosting its annual conference in Vancouver this year, from June 20th to 23rd. Makers Making Change’s Zee Kesler will be hosting a pre-conference workshop introducing maker skills to occupational therapists.
