Makers Making Change is thrilled to be working with Halifax Regional Centre for Education’s Assistive Technology support staff to switch adapt toys. Participants will learn from MMC the various techniques for adapting toys, as well as commonly used parts, tools and supplies. Participants will then have the hands on opportunity to switch adapt a variety of toys which are needed across various schools in Halifax Regional Municipality. The goal of this session is provide switch adapted toys for students and to have participants gain the skills and knowledge to switch adapt toys independently.
