At this adaptive toy workshop, with the Staff at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital, we’ll explore Assistive Technology by Hacking into a Toy and re-wiring it to make it Switch Accessible. All the toys adapted from this event will be used at the Glenrose for rehabilitation and play!

According to Statistics Canada, 80% of people living with a disability use an assistive device to increase their independence, and 27% need at least one more. Cost is often cited as the main barrier.
