On Wednesday, October 17th, 2018, we launched the Powered to Enable campaign in Burnaby, BC with a kick-off event at Electronic Arts Canada (new window).
One of the highlights of the night was watching people with disabilities play Need for Speed with the help of the XBox Adaptive Controller (new window) along with our LipSync. A huge thank you to Electronic Arts Canada for the space, resources, and donations; our fabulous speakers, particularly Omar Al Azawi for the heartfelt words you shared; Raymond Kam for the amazing photos; and The Gift Basket Company for the beautiful gift basket donations. Without all of your help we would not have had such a successful evening.
Text NEIL to 20222 to donate $10, $20, or $25 to support Canadians with disabilities through employment, digital literacy, and innovation.
